About The Prayerful Frontline

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. -James 5:16

Every day at GBCH&FM, our staff step onto the frontlines of ministry—meeting children in crisis, mending broken hearts, and fighting for hope in the lives of Georgia’s most vulnerable. But behind every act of care lies a deeper truth: this work is not only physical and emotional—it is spiritual.

That’s why we’re excited to launch The Prayerful Frontline, a new initiative inviting churches and believers across Georgia to stand shoulder to shoulder with our staff through intentional, ongoing prayer.

Our ministry fights daily battles for the well-being, healing, and future of children who have endured trauma, abuse, and neglect. We’re not asking churches to join us on the physical frontline, but to serve on The Prayerful Frontline. Your prayers are the spiritual armor needed in the daily battle for healing, well-being and restoration.

Through this initiative we will provide monthly prayer themes and guides, which you will find on this page, helping you to pray faithfully and specifically for our residents, staff, and ministry partners. Please pass this information along to your Sunday School Classes, Small Groups and Congregations. Prayer truly sustains all that we do.
Please join us on
 The Prayerful Frontline.

Prayer Guide and Theme:

New Beginnings

As we step into 2026, we are dedicating this month to praying for New Beginnings. Please join us in lifting up the children and families entering our care:

  • Pray for courage, peace, and the hope of Christ as they begin a new chapter.

  • Pray for deep healing and that each child and family would come to know Jesus personally.

  • Pray for our staff, who serve tirelessly in the trenches of ministry. Ask God to renew their strength, grant peace and patience, and fill them with joy and encouragement in their calling.

  • Pray for families—both the families of our residents and our foster families—that God would restore relationships, bring reconciliation, and nurture lasting transformation.
